A private member’s bill to legalise euthanasia is expected to be introduced into the Tasmanian Parliament this year, with a discussion paper due to be released soon. In anticipation of these developments, we must continue to send the message that euthanasia is a dangerous path that puts vulnerable lives at risk. [Began 21/02/2012]

:: Women are Worth More |

The AG has released a discussion paper as part of a plan to expand Tasmania’s prostitution laws. The paper appears to favour decriminalisation of prostitution, which will lead to increased demand and therefore exploitation and abuse of women through prostitution. Say 'no' to this exploitation by writing a submission. [Began 13/02/2012]

There are plans afoot to remove the historical terms BC and AD from the national school curriculum. Instead of writing Christ out of history, schools have a responsibility to accurately reflect the Judeo-Christian heritage that has shaped our nation. [Began 22/09/2011]

Children deserve a mum and a dad wherever possible, but apparently not in Tasmania, where the Government plans to let two men, two women or a single person order a baby through altruistic surrogacy. [Began 17/03/2011]

The ACT Government is asking for submissions into the prostitution industry after the death of Janine Cameron, a 17 year old girl found overdosed in a Canberra brothel. Let us not be silent on this legitimising of the ‘oldest oppression’. [Began 11/02/2011]

The WA Attorney General plans to ban prostitution from residential areas but allow brothels in other locations. This approach has failed elsewhere and women will continue to be ‘legally exploited’ through the sex trade. [Began 01/12/2010]

It’s hard to believe this is happening in Australia. Pressure is building on politicians in Qld and NSW to allow open slather abortion right up to birth even when there is no medical reason. A tragic Cairns court case is being manipulated by activists to push for this. You can help set the record straight by emailing the Premiers and your local MP today. [Began 12/10/2010]
