On Wednesday the South Australian Parliament will vote on a bill to deregulate the prostitution industry.
The Bill amends five pieces of legislation, removing prostitution entirely from the Criminal Law Consolidation Act 1935 (CLCA) and the Summary Offences Act 1953.
Prostitution is a harmful blight on our community.
And the people it hurts most are the women who feel trapped with no way out.
Rather than encouraging prostitution, the government should be finding ways to help women out and to rehabilitate them.
Please email members of the Legislative Council today and ask them to vote against this bill.
