Kim Hames, please protect young and vulnerable Western Australians by banning post-20 week abortions for healthy babies.
You can save a life. Western Australia’s abortion laws need urgent reform.
In 1998 the law was changed to allow abortions after 20 weeks’ gestation, but only in the rarest of circumstances. Now these laws are being abused and children are being aborted for non-life-threatening conditions like dwarfism, spina bifida, down syndrome and limb deformities. You can make a difference by emailing your MP and the Health Minister and asking for WA’s abortion laws to be reformed.
Shocking abortion statistics revealed.
Over 470 babies aborted after 20 weeks since 2001.
In a speech to state parliament, MP Nick Goiran recently revealed the results of his investigations into abortion practices in WA. Since 2001, 474 babies were aborted after 20 weeks’ gestation. That’s the equivalent of an entire primary school disappearing. Many children were aborted simply because they were believed to have disabilities that are relatively common. Babies were aborted for non life-threatening conditions like dwarfism, spina bifida, down syndrome and limb deformities.
Email your MP.
Your voice is needed in the call to reform WA abortion laws.
You can help save a life by emailing your MP and Health Minister Kim Hames asking for WA’s abortion laws to be reformed. Too many children are dying for reasons that are completely unacceptable. By emailing your MP you will be making a clear and important stand for the rights of the unborn.
